Service in a Styrofoam Box by slave_evelyn Service with a...what? A styrofoam box? Surely your Master or Mistress deserves their heart's desire served on a silver platter, garnished with fresh herbs, perhaps gift wrapped with a velvet ribbon... Whoa! Let's examine the notion of service more carefully and seperate our assumptions about how service SHOULD look from the way we are serving desires to be served. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss how to recognize differences between anticipatory and presumptive service within your relationship, letting go of preconceived notions about service, and opening your hearts to providing service in whatever manner YOUR Master, Mistress, Owner, or Dom(me) desires to be served. While this workshop is intended primarily for service-oriented slaves and submissives, all are welcome to participate.

Pain & Spirituality by Michael Anthony For thousands of years and across many cultures, pain has been used to take people to their more authentic/spiritual/primal selves. We did not invent the use of pain to create altered states of consciousness, and yet we play in this space quite often. So what is behind these euphoric feelings we have, and perhaps more important is what we can do with these precious gifts, once understood, in a more mindful way. During this presentation, we will look at rituals and ceremonies throughout history, where pain was used to achieve spiritual goals for the participants. Additionally, we will talk about the different types of pain and endorphins. We will attempt to define spirituality as a more authentic state for us, perhaps, and talk about the value in using pain to help get us back to a more natural state, through intentional and consensual painful experiences. Finally, we will all have a chance to share some of our own painful and insightful experiences that we have enjoyed over the years. Let's delve into the "why" so many of us go through this type of painful experience over and over again...could it actually be some kind of spiritual experience?
Mindfulness + Obedience by Michael Anthony "Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way. On purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally." - Jon Kabat-Zinn In this lifestyle, we have the opportunity to understand and utilize mindfulness more effectively than the "vanillas/muggles" around us because of what we do. Protocols and rituals, for example, are mostly about keeping us in the present moment and mindful. And OMG, the play...in so many ways, play reinforces our mindfulness. Then when we can also be obedient (not to be confused with compliance and/or agreement), we have a recipe for a more peaceful existence where more free-spirited activites can easily happen. The real challenge is being and remaining more mindful and obedient. In this presentation, we will discuss some of the ways mindfulness is employed in this lifestyle. For example, in authority exchange, dynamics, in BDSM play, and life in general. We will discuss how adding in obdience from the Butchmanns perspective and using both intentionally can reduce our suffering. And finally, we will practice some simple mindfulness exercises in the amazing Leatherwoods we find ourselves in...in a special place of mindfulness, obedience, and connectedness.
Simplified Firecupping for Therapy and Play by Master Frederick Master Frederick will be teaching a simplified method of applying fire cups for both kink and play, as well as basic therapeutic methods.
Quick Release Ties for Suspension by The Dark Lord This is an advanced class that assumes you already have knowledge how to properly suspend someone. The Dark Lord will showcase quick release methods to reduce the amount of time it takes to apply as well as remove the rope. You will not be learning how to suspend, but how to make it faster.
Needles 101 by DonJay and Iona Pre-care, negotiations, cleaning, poking processes, post-scene cleaning, aftercare. This is a demo and lecture based class for the basics of needle play.
There will be a question and answer period along with the demo.
